At Hart van Friesland you can rent apartments for a few days, a few weeks or even for a longer period (a few months). The luxurious rooms of the apartments are completely furnished with, among other things: cable television, radio, shower and toilet. You can rent both an apartment on the ground floor with its own garden furniture, and on the first floor with a balcony

The peace and beautiful surroundings which you will experience around this park situated in central Friesland will make sure that this will be a holiday to remember. For water sports enthusiasts Hart van Friesland is pre-eminently suitable as a base for exploring. You can take along your own boat, and launch it down our slipway, but you can also hire a boat from us. You can usually moor this boat in front of your apartment and you do not need to pay any quay charges for this period. We are situated centrally in the Frisian lakes area bordering on a nature reserve, which is even closer to the Sneekermeer lake than Sneek itself. It is therefore ideal for yachtsmen and people with a motor boat. For fishermen there are special maps which specify the fishing grounds. These fishing grounds can often also be reached by land.
In addition to water sports there are also other activities; for example you can have a lovely bike ride or tour round the area past picturesque villages and ancient towns in the vast Frisian polder landscape. Since we are situated so centrally in Friesland, the distances are not very great. Sneek is approximately three kilometres away from our park and Joure approximately eight kilometres. Of course it is possible to cook in our apartments. They are provided with a 4-ring gas stove and a fridge. However, why not treat yourself to a meal in our restaurant? You are on holiday after all. Our kitchen offers a full menu with delicious dishes at a reasonable price.
